You better make plenty of this tasty recipe, especially if you want to have meatloaf sandwiches out of the leftovers. A moist flavorful meatloaf and the Heinz 57 gives it just a little kick without being too spicy.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 - 4lb Hamburger
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs (Fine Bread Crumbs - I use the kind in a can)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (Small Can - About 4 oz))
  • 1 medium Onion (Diced)
  • 1/2 cup Bell Pepper (Diced - Optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic (I use the )
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard or Spicy Mustard
  • 2/3 cups Milk
  • 3/4 cups Heinz 57 (Or Generic Brand works well too - Be sure to reserve some for the top of the meatloaf)
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar or Colby Jack (Shredded - Actually, I measure with a )

Note

Don't be afraid to experiment with a meatloaf recipe. A little dash of Chili Powder or a little more Heinz 57 can give it a boost or a little different taste.
